PRODUCTION CATERING & VIP HOSPITALITY | ZAIN EID 2024 TV COMMERCIAL

Zain Eid 2024: VIP Production Catering Behind the Commercial Shoot

Around-the-clock hospitality for Mai Omar, client representatives, the director and senior production personnel during a commercial shoot that ran for roughly 48 hours or more, with a schedule that could change scene by scene.

  • CAMPAIGN: EID 2024 — “EID WHEREVER WE ARE”
  • BRAND: ZAIN
  • FORMAT: TV COMMERCIAL SHOOT
  • DURATION: APPROX. 48+ HOURS
  • LORIENTAL ROLE: VIP PRODUCTION CATERING

A hospitality layer for the people at the top of the production

Zain’s Eid 2024 campaign, “Eid Wherever We Are,” starred Egyptian actress Mai Omar. LOriental’s role sat behind the camera: a dedicated hospitality setup for Mai Omar, client representatives, the director and a small group of senior production personnel.

This was not general crew catering. The production team wanted a noticeably elevated experience for the VIP group, with food and drinks available whenever the shooting schedule created a window rather than only at fixed meal times.

The set controlled the meal schedule

Commercial shoots rarely move exactly to the timetable circulated in advance. A scene can run long, another can move forward, and a planned break can disappear completely. The catering therefore had to follow production instead of asking production to stop for catering.

LOriental built the service around continuous availability. Fresh food had to be replenished, hot service had to remain flexible, and dedicated waiters needed to be ready when the client, director or principal talent suddenly had time to eat.

From grazing to a full hot lunch

The hospitality mix covered different kinds of breaks across the shoot. Cheese and charcuterie platters, fresh fruit and snacks supported informal grazing, while a complete hot lunch provided a more substantial meal when the schedule allowed it.

A full beverage bar remained available alongside the food. Principal talent also had food and drinks replenished inside their caravans, so they did not need to leave their working area or wait for a formal service period.

Roughly 48 hours or more of continuous adaptation

The production ran for roughly 48 hours or more. That changed the operating problem from a single meal service into a long-cycle hospitality assignment.

Freshness, replenishment and service readiness had to hold across an unusually long working period. The objective stayed simple: whenever the VIP group had a break, something appropriate had to be ready.

High-touch service for a deliberately limited audience

Production catering can look small on paper because the selected audience may be limited, but the service expectation can be higher precisely because of that focus. The same people see the hospitality repeatedly over many hours, and their availability can change minute by minute.

In this case, the value came from discretion and persistence: keeping the VIP hospitality layer supplied and responsive while the larger production continued around it.

A different kind of operational proof

The Zain shoot expands LOriental’s case history beyond conventional events into film and advertising production. The operating constraint was not guest flow through a venue; it was an unpredictable camera schedule and a service window that could move at any moment.

That made adaptability the core catering skill. Food preparation, replenishment, waiter coverage and caravan service all had to stay synchronized with production rather than a fixed event programme.

What this case demonstrates

Zain Eid 2024 is focused proof of VIP production hospitality: a shoot lasting roughly 48 hours or more, continuous grazing and beverage availability, a full hot lunch, dedicated waiter coverage and in-caravan replenishment for principal talent.

Its strength is specificity. LOriental was not feeding the entire crew; it was protecting the experience of a small senior group whose schedule was controlled by the production itself.
