Angham at Pyramids Panorama: High-Volume Concert F&B Retail

A one-night public food-and-beverage retail operation for an approximately 5,000-person concert on 1 December 2025, built around one large kiosk and 12 coffee machines to absorb concentrated demand.

  • DATE: 1 DEC 2025
  • APPOINTMENT: TAZKARTI
  • VENUE: PYRAMIDS PANORAMA, GIZA
  • EVENT AUDIENCE: APPROX. 5,000
  • LORIENTAL SCOPE: PUBLIC F&B RETAIL

A concert-scale retail brief at the Pyramids

On 1 December 2025, Angham performed at Pyramids Panorama at the Giza Pyramids with an orchestra led by maestro Hani Farhat. Tazkarti engaged LOriental to operate the public food-and-beverage offer for the concert.

This was a retail F&B assignment rather than a catered event. Concertgoers purchased directly from LOriental’s kiosk during the event window, so the operating problem was different from serving a pre-counted guest list: capacity had to respond to purchasing demand as it happened.

From festival infrastructure to a one-night concert outlet

The concert followed immediately after The Pyramids Echo, which had used the same Pyramids Panorama event infrastructure. Much of the physical setup remained in place and the customer-facing environment was rebranded for Angham’s concert.

That continuity changed the job. Instead of building another multi-day festival operation from the ground up, LOriental had to convert an existing event shell into a focused one-night public retail outlet and operate it at live-concert pace.

Demand arrived in waves, not in covers

The concert audience was approximately 5,000 people. That number defines the environment in which the kiosk had to operate; it is not a claim that LOriental served every attendee.

Unlike a seated dinner, buffet or pre-ordered service, public retail demand can compress into short periods around arrival, the pre-show window and performance breaks. The kiosk therefore had to be ready for sudden increases in transactions without knowing in advance exactly how many people would purchase or what mix they would choose.

One kiosk, twelve coffee machines

LOriental operated one large-format public F&B kiosk. The offer included croissants, sandwiches and bakery items, soft drinks, mineral water, coffee and other hot drinks. All food sold through the kiosk was freshly prepared in LOriental’s central kitchen.

The 12-machine coffee setup was a capacity decision. Hot beverages are slower to produce than bottled drinks or ready-to-serve food, so increasing parallel coffee production reduced the risk that one product category would become the bottleneck when demand peaked.

Designing the offer for throughput

The menu was deliberately straightforward enough to move quickly through a temporary retail environment. Ready-to-serve bakery and sandwich items could be replenished alongside cold beverages while the coffee stations handled hot-drink production in parallel.

Behind the counter, the priorities were workstation capacity, stock replenishment and transaction flow. The operation had to keep multiple product categories available at the same time while protecting speed during the short windows when large numbers of concertgoers could approach the kiosk together.

Running a temporary retail outlet at live-event pace

LOriental treated the kiosk as a temporary high-volume retail outlet rather than as a catering station. Replenishment, production capacity and front-counter movement had to stay synchronized throughout the concert window so the outlet could continue trading as demand changed in real time.

The existing Pyramids Panorama construction reduced the need to rebuild the physical shell from scratch, but the guest-facing environment still had to read as part of Angham’s event rather than the festival that came before it. The operational handover therefore combined reuse behind the scenes with a complete event-specific rebrand in front.

What this assignment demonstrates

This case expands LOriental’s evidence beyond conventional event catering. It shows the ability to run public F&B retail inside a major live-entertainment environment, where success depends on throughput, capacity planning, replenishment and the ability to absorb demand spikes.

The proof is operational rather than culinary complexity: one large kiosk, 12 coffee machines, a compact retail offer and a concert audience of approximately 5,000 people creating unpredictable demand around a single-night event.
