Three Ways to Buy LOriental Catering
Book One Catering Service
Choose exactly what you need, that could be Finger Food & Canapés, Open Buffet, Seated Dining, Live Culinary Stations or the Non-Alcoholic Live Bar & Mixology service. This works when one service already solves the hospitality brief.
Combine Several Catering Services
Build your own combination. You might choose canapés followed by Open Buffet, Seated Dining with pre-dinner Finger Food, a buffet supported by Live Culinary Stations, or a Live Bar alongside another food service. You decide the combination and LOriental coordinates the execution.
Choose a Complete Hospitality Experience
Choose Dînatoire, Signature, Grand or Privé when you want LOriental to start from a broader pre-composed hospitality structure. The food, live elements, sweets, bar, presentation and service flow are designed to work together from the beginning.
Dînatoire
Dining in Motion
Dînatoire is designed around a social, mobile way of eating. There is no conventional buffet main meal by default. Instead, guests move through a combination of finger food, grazing, Social live stations, sweets and a dedicated Live Bar.
The experience works especially well when people are meant to circulate, talk, return to food repeatedly and experience different hospitality points across the event.
Think cocktail reception, social wedding format, brand gathering or any event where sitting everyone down for one main meal would work against the rhythm of the room. The exact menu selections, station mix and commercial inclusions are confirmed in the proposal.
Signature
Complete Premium Hospitality
Signature adds a more defined dining center to the hospitality journey. The experience combines Finger Food, a curated dining component, selected live culinary moments, sweets and a dedicated Live Bar into one coordinated event structure.
It is designed for clients who want the event to feel complete across arrival, dining, live interaction, dessert and beverage service without turning every part of the evening into a major spectacle. Signature works well for weddings, corporate events, formal social occasions and other events that need a full premium hospitality sequence with clear structure.
The exact menu, live-station selection, presentation and service scope are confirmed in the proposal.
Grand
Abundance With a Stronger Sense of Spectacle
Grand expands the hospitality footprint. The experience brings together premium Finger Food, grazing, broader dining, multiple live culinary moments, sweets, a more elevated Live Bar and a stronger presentation layer. Guests encounter more points of food, more visible culinary activity and a greater sense of abundance across the event.
Grand is particularly suited to major weddings, large celebrations and high-impact events where the hospitality itself should feel substantial and visibly present throughout the venue. The experience is designed to feel complete before optional enhancements are added.
Privé
LOriental’s Highest Hospitality Expression
Privé is the highest level within the Complete Hospitality Experience system. It begins with more premium food selections, premium grazing, Showcase culinary moments, elevated sweets, an elevated Live Bar and a more refined hospitality setup.
Depending on the event, the composition can lean more toward a dining-led journey or a more social, mobile hospitality format.
Privé still begins from a defined hospitality structure. It is then adapted around the event, venue, audience, culinary direction and the level of presentation required. It is not a promise that every element of the event is automatically bespoke or unlimited in scope.
The Live Bar Is Part of the Experience
Each Complete Hospitality Experience includes a dedicated Live Bar component. That means more than a few supporting drinks included with the food. The Live Bar is the dedicated service described on our Bar page: a physical bar, standard glassware, mixologists and baristas, live preparation and unlimited selected drinks for the confirmed guests during the agreed service window. Inside a Complete Hospitality Experience, the Bar also performs two other roles.
It gives guests somewhere to gather, order, watch, talk and spend time during arrivals, transitions and breaks. And it contributes visually to the event as a built, decorated hospitality centerpiece that can respond to the theme, brand or wider environment. The exact beverage level, service duration and physical-bar treatment are confirmed in the proposal.
Complete Does Not Always Mean Theatrical
Dînatoire and Signature are designed as complete hospitality experiences without Theatrical Hospitality built into the format. They can remain entirely focused on food, service, flow and presentation, or theatrical elements can be added selectively when the event calls for a stronger guest-facing moment.
Grand is different; theatrical Hospitality is already built into the experience. The service is designed to include a more deliberate kinetic or scenic dimension, whether through choreographed movement, custom service hardware, live transformation, direct guest interaction or a stronger visual integration of food and beverage service into the room.
Privé takes that further. Theatricality becomes a more significant part of the hospitality design, with greater scope for bespoke service moments, custom hardware, tableside interaction, performance-led presentation and more ambitious scenic environments.
The progression is intentional: Dînatoire and Signature can be theatrical. Grand is theatrical. Privé pushes theatricality further.
Setup, Styling & Service Grow With the Experience
Every Complete Hospitality Experience is built as an operating system for the event, not just a food package. The setup, service team, presentation, replenishment and guest flow are planned together so the experience works as one coordinated whole.
What changes as you move upward is the level of refinement and integration. The physical presentation becomes more developed, the service feels more considered, and more of the hospitality environment is designed around the experience rather than simply supporting it.
This still does not mean full event production is automatically included. Large-scale décor, major floral work, staging, entertainment, production lighting and similar scopes sit outside the Experience unless they are specifically brought into the wider brief.
Where a Catering Service Ends and a Complete Experience Begins
A Complete Hospitality Experience is not defined by how many individual services appear at an event. An Open Buffet can still include live stations. Seated Dining can begin with Finger Food. A Finger Food event can still have a supporting beverage service. Those additions do not automatically change what the event is built around.
Dînatoire, Signature, Grand and Privé are different because the services are planned together from the start as one hospitality experience. Food, live elements, sweets, bar, service flow and presentation are all designed to work as part of the same event structure.
That is what places the Complete Hospitality Experiences above the individual Catering Services rather than alongside them.
Complete Hospitality in Practice
The current Experience names are a commercial framework. Historical events prove the capabilities behind that framework, but we do not retroactively relabel every past event as Dînatoire, Signature, Grand or Privé. These examples show how LOriental has already combined multiple services, guest journeys and operating systems in real events.
Dell Technologies: OneJourney
Dell’s recurring employee events required completely different hospitality models across different briefs. The 2023 OneJourney brought together approximately 450 guests around Egyptian-American finger food, themed service and bar presentation.
In 2024, approximately 700 employees experienced a new Egyptian/Pharaonic direction combining Finger Food, beverages, a six-meter curved digital bar, desserts and live mixology. The recurring relationship proves the ability to redesign a multi-service hospitality system around the event objective rather than repeat the same package.
Australia National Day: Australian Embassy Cairo
For approximately 300 guests at the Australian Ambassador’s Residence, LOriental created a stand-up lunch around Open Buffet, live grill, live pasta and a temporary mobile kitchen built specifically for the event.
Australian lamb became the live-grill anchor while guests continued circulating through the residence garden. The case shows how dining, live cooking, guest movement and venue operations can be planned as one system even when the venue does not provide the required kitchen infrastructure.
Indian Destination Wedding: Three Events Across Two Days
Approximately 150 international guests moved through three events across two days. The programme shifted from a Nile-side ceremony and formal reception dinner to a more social Egyptian celebration built around live falafel, feteer, other interactive food and beverage service.
LOriental coordinated the hospitality as part of one connected destination-wedding journey, including guest transport, event timelines and the change in mood between formats.
Helmy Al Assar & Reem Leila: Baron Empain Palace
This approximately 600-guest wedding used two terraces as two different hospitality environments. The upper terrace carried formal VIP service for senior government officials and other VIP guests. The lower terrace used premium Finger Food, pass-arounds, Live Culinary Stations and a large mirrored beverage bar around a more energetic party environment.
The case demonstrates how one event can contain distinct hospitality zones while still operating as one coordinated guest journey.
Built Through One Hospitality System
Complete Hospitality Experiences use the same five-part operating logic that sits behind LOriental’s wider event work.
Concept
What should the event feel like, and what role should hospitality play?
Cuisine
What food direction, ingredients and formats suit the audience and occasion?
Choreography
How should guests encounter food and beverages across arrivals, dining, live moments, sweets and transitions?
Venue Intelligence
What do access, power, preparation space, service distance, guest movement and venue rules change?
Execution
How do production, staffing, transport, setup, service, replenishment and breakdown operate as one plan?
The Venue Still Changes the Experience
Choosing Grand or Privé does not erase the realities of the venue. A palace, garden, private home, museum, yacht, diplomatic residence or temporary event structure can change what is operationally possible.
Access, kitchen capacity, power, fire restrictions, refrigeration, service routes, setup windows and guest movement may affect the final composition. LOriental adapts the Experience around the actual site rather than forcing the same physical solution into every venue.
Built Around Your Event
Dînatoire, Signature, Grand and Privé each provide a clear hospitality structure, but no two events are built exactly the same way.
The final experience is shaped around your guest count, venue, menu direction, live culinary elements, beverage service, setup and any premium enhancements you choose. Your proposal brings all of those decisions together into one tailored plan, with the exact scope and pricing for your event.
