General Motors Egypt engaged LOriental to cater an executive visit at its 6th of October City manufacturing facility. The brief called for a complete, polished buffet appropriate to senior leadership, with enough range and presence to feel fully hosted while remaining disciplined within the corporate setting. LOriental’s scope covered the food, buffet conceptualization and styling.
A buffet shaped for executive hospitality
The service format centered on finger food and canapés, giving the executive group variety in a compact format that supported the visit while keeping the room comfortable and easy to navigate.
The styling needed restraint because every platter was visible throughout the meeting. An event photograph shows the buffet positioned beneath GM’s corporate values wall, integrating the food presentation naturally into the working environment.

General Motors Egypt’s manufacturing facility is in the 4th Industrial Zone of 6th of October City, where production began in 1985. The setting called for hospitality that felt polished and deliberate inside an active corporate manufacturing environment.
The solution was compact and presentation-led, giving senior executives real choice through a visually disciplined setup that sat comfortably within the room and the working environment.
