LOriental provided backstage artist hospitality for Russell Peters during the Cairo stop of his Act Your Age world tour at Sports City Stadium in the New Administrative Capital on 19 February 2024. The assignment came through R Creates and covered the headline performer and his controlled-access backstage circle.

Food and refreshments were scheduled around arrival, performance and post-show requirements, with separate dinner waves and continuously stocked dressing-room minibars. The menu included country-fried chicken finished on site, baked salmon, shepherd’s pie, burgers and lighter platters. Dedicated English-speaking hospitality staff and precisely timed replenishment supported the touring team throughout the production day.

LOriental Moments appeared in episode 10 of Shark Tank Egypt’s second season, with Cofounder & CEO Sherif Hussein presenting the company’s experiential approach to catering. The pitch brought together a finger-food buffet, digital bar and Rodizio-style churrascaria, giving the investors a direct introduction to the food and presentation.

The tasting included lobster and rosemary skewers, duck breast with blueberry compote, koshari bites and vine-leaf bites. The presentation attracted a joint on-air offer from Mohamed Farouk, Dina Ghabbour and Ahmed Tarek Khalil, marking a national television showcase for LOriental’s catering concepts.

LOriental delivered hospitality for ADNOC Distribution’s launch of its first three branded service stations in Egypt on 23 September 2023. Commissioned by Innovation Crew, the team operated at the Degla Maadi inauguration, part of ADNOC Distribution’s expansion through its joint venture with TotalEnergies Marketing Egypt.

Passed canapés and a digitally branded beverage bar supported the press programme, while senior government, diplomatic and corporate guests received a separate seated breakfast. Its centrepiece was a composed trio of coloured crêpe rolls with smoked salmon and cream cheese, Grisons beef and Gruyère, and spinach and mushroom. Both formats ran within temporary event structures at the station.

LOriental delivered two hospitality formats for the Egyptian launch of the Maserati Grecale at TAM Gallery, District 5, on 18 March 2023. A branded finger-food buffet supported an earlier reception for approximately 50 journalists, followed by a four-wave Italian pass-around experience for around 120 VIP guests in the evening.

The evening menu drew on Maserati’s Italian heritage through dishes such as Bolognese arancini and tiramisu. Laser-engraved crystal details carried the brand into the service pieces, while a temporary preparation area outside the gallery supported both receptions.

LOriental’s work with Dell Technologies has spanned employee celebrations and university technology competitions across 2023 and 2024. The relationship began with OneJourney on 8 March 2023, when an Egypt-meets-Texas concept for approximately 450 guests combined cowboy-styled service with dishes including Alexandrian liver nachos, chicken shawarma tacos and hawawshi sliders.

The programme continued with a 700-guest OneJourney celebration in New Cairo on 15 February 2024, featuring a six-metre curved digital bar. LOriental then catered HackTrick on 1 March and its closing on 8 March, adapting food and refreshment service to the competition schedule.

LOriental catered Flat6Labs Cairo Demo Day at the Grand Egyptian Museum on 15 February 2023, welcoming around 500 investors, founders, partners and ecosystem guests as 12 startups presented their businesses. An Egyptian-inspired Apéro Dînatoire allowed guests to eat while moving between presentations and conversations.

The menu reinterpreted familiar Egyptian flavours as food guests could enjoy while networking, including koshari bites and chicken shawarma taco bites. The event marked LOriental’s first catering assignment at the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Reflecting on the event, Dina El Shenoufy of F6 Group / F6 Ventures said: “What stood out was how naturally the catering connected with the identity of the event.”

LOriental designed and managed a 50-seat ceremonial dining environment for The British University in Egypt at JW Marriott Hotel Cairo on 3 December 2022. The VIP dinner followed Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub’s installation as the university’s inaugural Chancellor.

A continuous cream-covered table, bespoke burgundy runner with gold edging, coordinated seating, flowers and candlelight established the formal setting. LOriental supplied the guest-facing environment, including tableware, glassware, printed menus, décor and on-site setup and management. JW Marriott supplied the food and beverages.

LOriental began a six-month food-production and replenishment programme for the National Bank of Egypt Platinum Lounge at Cairo International Airport on 15 October 2022. Serving as a subcontractor to the lounge’s master contractor, the company supplied food for a 24-hour operation at Terminal 3, Gate F.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner followed a seven-day rotating menu, supported by cold items available between hot-meal windows and additional deliveries when demand increased. LOriental also trained the contractor’s service team on presentation and garnishing and prepared bilingual menu labels. The lounge’s master contractor retained responsibility for front-of-house staffing and guest service.

LOriental sponsored the second International Conference on Accelerating Stop Food Loss and Waste for a Net-Zero Future at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport in Smart Village on 11–12 October 2022. The company provided conference hospitality to the sustainability programme ahead of COP27.

Sherif Hussein, Cofounder & CEO, also contributed as a keynote speaker, sharing LOriental’s practical experience of managing food waste within catering operations. His contribution addressed avoidable waste and the particular challenges of buffet service, connecting the conference discussion to decisions made in food production and event delivery.

LOriental launched LOriental Moments in October 2022, building on its catering business with event-management and wedding-planning services. The expansion brought food, presentation and hospitality together with coordination of the wider occasion.

The new offer gave clients the option to bring event planning and catering together through one team. The expansion built on LOriental’s finger-food and canapé work, connecting menu planning, presentation and hospitality with the other arrangements required for a wedding or special event.
